I’m a future Software Developer who discovered her passion for programming when I was in high school. The more I learned about programming, I began to expand my knowledge by learning how to write code using Java, HTML, and CSS. I created my very first website my second year in college and worked with a group to create a text-based Java my third year. Working on those projects gave me a glimpse of what I would like to do professionally. Some of the additional skills that I have obtained through my college courses are MySQL, Python, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, and Git Hub. In addition, I have received a Microsoft Technology Associate Certificate in Networking Fundamentals. One extracurricular activity that I participated in is the GGC Honor Program. This program helped us to participate in events that cover the four pillars of the school scholarship, leadership, creativity, and service. Outside of school, I help to take care of my two younger brothers. I support them by attending their sports games and playing games with them. In my free time, I like to play my violin. I have been playing for nine years, and even though I play leisurely it’s a great way to destress and continue building my muscle memory. The best part of playing my violin is finding fun sightreading pieces (which is playing a piece from start to finish without studying the music beforehand).
