Collected and interpreted coding of over 1,900 cases using empirical criminological research data derived from the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System and knowledge of the court system; funded by The National Science Foundation.Collaborated with principal investigators to subject prosecutor decision-making in state court files to quantitative analysis.Evaluated combined documentation to increase inter-coder reliability and reduce coding error.

Introductory Sociology (SOC 1): Teaching Assistant for Professor Erik Nielsen (Spring 2021).Introductory Criminology (CRIM 100)For the fall of 2020, I was a Teaching Assistant for Professor Brian Baker’s CRIM 100 class. I aided the Professor in answering the questions of students during class, creating course work and materials for CANVAS, and grading homework, exams, and extra credit assignments. I also guided over 140 students in a smooth transition from in-person classes to online classes.

This position involved my recruitment of students dedicated to fundraising efforts to pursue THON’s mission. For the Fall 2019 semester, I recruited over 40 individuals into our organization. For Spring 2020 semester, I recruited over 50 individuals. In 2019, we raised our highest total for THON ($56,838.94).

I hosted social events for the members of Trilogy and Phi Sigma Kappa of Penn State to encourage enthusiasm for our fundraising efforts. To host these events, I communicated and worked with local businesses and venues, while also holding responsibility for a portion of Trilogy’s finances and budgets.
