My name is Sydney Nugent and I am a finance major expecting to graduate from Rutgers Business School in May of 2027. I have been tutoring and babysitting weekly since high school. I tutored students with math in school during lunch period, and I tutored kids in elementary school after school hours. Doing this helped me increase my communication skills and held me responsible for creating lesson plans for the people I helped. I babysat everyday after school, and additionally on the weekends when I was needed. This taught me patience, and I enjoyed spending a lot of time bonding with the kids and ensuring their safety. At Rutgers, I am involved in a sorority called Alpha Chi Omega. Within this sorority, we do many fun events to raise money for domestic violence awareness, and spend time organizing these events. Some of my skills include being responsible and my stress management skills. I am also skilled with using online sites such as Microsoft word. I intend to pursue a summer internship at a finance company to discover potential job opportunities for my future
