Specializing in working with K-12th Grade Students from the greater Portland area. My goal along with the museums is to facilitate open and self-reflective conversations about art by giving the visitors a chance to speak their mind in a safe environment. These tours are grounded in the importance of slow looking and visual thinking strategies.

Facilitated art exploration with 3-5 year olds through crafts, song and creative play. I delivered curriculum through age-appropriate activities and discussions with groups of up to 15 students. I also supported learning through group interaction and provided individualized assistance when needed

Assisted in teaching a summer clay animation class for 2nd - 5th graders.

West Linn

I worked alongside the Junior High Pastor and organized materials needed for trips and activities. Facilitated event coordination by managing preparations, day-of logistics, and payment tracking. I supervised and directed volunteer groups of up to 20 people of varying ages and fostered partnerships by communicating opportunities to volunteer with new ministries.

Martin Luther King, Jr. School

Partnered with elementary students to create and run a contemporary art gallery, called KSMoCA. Much of the program’s mission is to connect schools and students to both art and the greater community. By gaining the support of fellow artists, local and international, KSMoCA is able to put on exhibitions that attract visitors from all over the Portland Metro area and beyond. During my time with this program, I lead large and small group discussions about art and its role in our society today. With these honest conversations came intriguing and powerful exhibitions that question our ideas of race, social justice and identity.

Portland, Oregon Area

Created illustrations and storyboards for children's books and marketing. Worked with a recording team to help develop and produce a voice for the main character for a full-length audio-play recording.
