I am currently working as a Maintenance/ Reliability Engineer Coop/Intern at Mosaics Belle Plaine location, with a group of three engineers of varying disciplines.My role includes completing engineering requests from the operations and maintenance teams, including designing/sizing/ or validating new or modifications of existing equipment within the plant. This is completed through active communication with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, trades persons, contractors, as well as with other engineering groups and my team members. As well as through obtaining necessary information on equipment specifications through drawings, manuals, and other technical sources. I have been able to be active in the safety culture of Mosaic. I have had the opportunity to participate in weekly department meetings discussing projects to increase safety on site, as well as keeping current on safety implementations on other sites throughout the organization.

I worked as a project coordinator for different piping fabrication and installation projects in collaboration with my supervising engineer.My role included analyzing and recording materials needed from engineered piping system drawings and structural drawings for the project. As well as recording the type and quantity of welds that will need to be performed to fabricate the drawings. From this data, I reach out to multiple suppliers to estimate material costs and use the weld count to estimate labor time/cost. As well as I review the scope of the project to determine any rental equipment or subcontractors needed.After the estimate is complete I would draft a quote for the project to be reviewed by my supervisor and sent to the client.I also developed subcontracts for ongoing jobs and coordinated which days individuals were needed on site. As well as I also organized equipment rentals and their delivery to site.
