The focus of the research in the Busciglio lab is to understand the molecular bases of neuronal dysfunction and death in Down’s Syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease. I participate in bench work experiments applying methods learned during the introductory period, including western blot, RT-qPCR, immunocytochemistry, and liquid chromatography mass.
