I am a second year master’s student at the University of Florida, graduating December 2022 and pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida in Spring 2021. I have research experience in the different areas of biomechanical for testing orthopedic implants and surgical techniques, physiology of examining and mapping P2X2 ionotropic receptors in mice, wet lab of isolating a bacteriophage from the environment using aseptic technique, and the annotation of three phage genomes. Currently, I am working in Research and Development for Tissue and Biological implants. These experiences, along with my extensive community engagement and leadership, combine to aid in my problem solving skills and passion for improving the medical field. I am open to engineering, research, and medical opportunities that will challenge me and allow me to continue to develop academically and professionally.
