Created and oversaw the execution of a mentorship program for students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Marshall University during the Spring 2021 semester. 14 mentor-mentee pairs participated in the program, building their networks and collaborating to learn new skills applicable to the workplace.

In this position, I learned a lot about mental healthcare communications. I collaborated with IT and staff to develop and maintain an interactive database to catalog and organize technology for foster parents and I expanded digital resources available for KVC's foster homes.

I served as an intern for the WV Tourism Office’s Public Relations & Marketing Team. I worked with the Tourism Office staff to assist with the implementation of marketing and visitor services strategies. I worked with a team to prepare blogs and write content for the updated website.

In this administrative position, I answered phones, sorted mail, and carried out basic administrative tasks. I acted as a guest writer and had several articles published for the local newspaper, the Jackson Herald.

As a student instructor, I taught a variety of classes to children ranging from grades PreK-5th grade in the school's PATCH 21 after-school program.
