I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina (go gamecocks!) with a BA in Environmental Studies and Global Studies. I have demonstrated experiences working in environmental education, program management, teaching and communications. My work experiences and education have given me a strong foundation in writing and content development. In my Communications Internship at the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, I composed written and visual content for Instagram and Facebook platforms, utilizing Canva to create engaging infographics and images. I enjoy writing and the opportunity to provide content and messaging that drives behavior, educates, or shares new information with an audience. Teaching in the classroom as an English language assistant in Madrid, Spain provided me with the opportunity to create and deliver impactful lesson plans. My teaching experiences have also further developed my verbal communication skills and increased my interest in training and helping others learn new concepts. My organization and time management skills have served me well in my academic and professional experiences. I have strong project management skills and I give 100%+ to all projects and tasks and bring a strong sense of responsibility and ownership to my work. I am passionate about collaboration and derive great satisfaction from achieving team goals and supporting team members.
