My goal as a triathlon coach is to inspire, empower and educate my athletes on how they can be the best triathlete they can be both physically and mentally. I want them to feel comfortable enough to ask me anything to make them feel as prepared as possible about their athletic ventures and give them all the tools to be able to execute their races to make them as seamless as possible. The sport of triathlon can become an all consuming activity and part of my challenge for some will be to help my athletes learn how to maintain a balance between their training, family, work and social life. Balance is the key to success in order to maintain the support of your loved ones and colleagues in this athletic undertaking. I want to learn about my athletes physical and personal capabilities in order to best, develop their confidence through sport to make them believe they can do anything in this life, not just in athletics, but if they have the tenacity and drive to succeed in a triathlon, they have enough drive to succeed in other aspects of their lives. I want my athletes to feel the fun of the journey of training, pushing themselves beyond their comfortable limits. I want them to learn about themselves physically and emotionally, and realize that triathlon is about the journey getting to the race, not just the outcome of the race. I want challenge to be your motivator and to help you let go of the fears of failure. Your body will achieve if your mind can conceive!!!
