Recent graduate from Mount Royal University's Health and Physical Education Program, with a major in Physical Literacy. I have a passion for learning about the musculoskeletal system and all of the different ways we can train our bodies to prevent injuries and maximize sport performance. My strong desire to learn about this industry combined with my tendency to be open-minded and my good work ethic, have helped me to excel throughout my time at Mount Royal.In addition to being a student, I am also a dancer with 21 years of training, and a dance instructor with 7+ years of experience teaching children ages 2-15 years. I am trained in styles such as tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary/modern, hip-hop, and pointe. Post graduation I have a goal of combining my extensive dance background with my passion for health and wellness into a career in dance physiotherapy. I want to help dancers of all ages stay healthy and fit throughout their entire dance career.

My role as a dance instructor has me preparing children for dance exams, and choreographing recital routines for them to perform at the year-end recital. Additionally I work to instil qualities such as kindness, respect, and hard work in my dancers while still maintaining a fun and welcoming environment for them.
