Provides design and art direction for the creative services team. The Art Director and the creative services team, create original visual concepts in response to a creative brief. Partners with the VP of Creative, creative peers, executive leadership, sales professionals, and innovation teams on various tasks. Responsible to present creative presentations to customers, leadership teams, and executives. Exhibits outstanding design judgment and works collaboratively with the design team in achieving the highest possible standards for all materials requiring design across all product offerings by Lamar. Possesses a working knowledge of customers’ business challenges, and performs art direction to address specific objectives as communicated. Help manage production teams in executing the work.

Division Of Strategic Communications

Overview: I develop new creative concepts and original design directions in support of LSU branding initiatives and marketing communication strategies. I work closely with other LSU Strategic Communications teams to create, support and extend new and existing brand concepts across emerging technologies and in multi-media executions including print and digital.Specific Duties: Conceives, designs, and produces high-level print and web-based graphic design concepts for client review using design and layout programs. Meets project deadlines. Prepares final art for projects' delivery to vendors for production.Works as a member of a team to communicate with clients and assess the purpose, audience, message, quantity, distribution, and budget for proposed web and print publications. Works closely with Marketing, Communications, Photography, Web, Video, Social Media, and others to create coordinated communications across media.Approves and advises campus collateral submissions to ensure LSU brand guidelines are being followed.Works closely with New Media teams to create and promote content through LSU digital outlets. Manages student workers and the design end of social media content projects.
