I taught a laboratory section of Synthesis Laboratory (corresponds with Organic Chemistry 1 content) for three semesters under Dr. William Howitz. As a teaching assistant, I would manage the safety of the lab setting for a 4 hour laboratory period while also assisting students with concepts during the session. Outside of the physical laboratory setting, I was responsible for grading student post-lab submissions in a timely manner with plenty of feedback, holding weekly office hours, and working with students to ensure they were on track for their desired grade. Synthesis Lab followed the Specifications Grading method for course grading.

The Effective Team Dynamics program is run by Dr. Realff at Georgia Tech and utilizes Clifton Strengths curriculum to education students and professionals about their strengths. Students learn how to utilize their strengths to better contribute to a team setting, how to understand others strengths, take lessons in crucial conversations and more. As a student assistant, I worked on scheduling session requests and developing video content for the program.

The Academic Search for Knowledge Trip (ASK) is a trip designed for Gold and Stamps Scholars with the mission for students to answer an open ended question through exploration of the designated location. I coordinated the trip to New Mexico and Arizona alongside the Office of Special Scholars Director and Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech. Our team explored similarities and differences between the cultures of different communities in the Southwest by meeting with professors at the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, government and spiritual leaders of local tribes, visiting schools and tribal extension agents on tribal land, and more. As the student leader of the trip, I had additional responsibilities such maintaining a budget, coordinating travel plans and accommodations, running trip meetings, and selecting the team of scholars.

As a Co-Chair for the 2023 Stamps Scholars National Convention, I managed an executive team of 8 individuals and oversaw subcommittees totaling over 40 students. Our team coordinated with partnering schools, Georgia Tech professionals, and the Stamps Family to a convention under the theme of Inspiring Impact. On March 30th, our team united over 750 Stamps Scholars and staff from 25+ universities on Georgia Tech's campus for a 4 day event. The convention featured educational events titled "Threads" that explored niche topics in a tangible learning environment, community engagement consulting sessions where small groups advised non-profits on solutions to a single issue, and large groups events that united the entire community such as a Keynote Panel and Banquet. The Keynote Panel featured industry experts from 4 fields (arts, science, business, and history) to inspire impact amongst scholars. The Keynote Banquet featured an address from Dr. Elizabeth Kiss, Warden of the Rhodes House and Rhodes Trust, that spoke on the same theme. In the position, I worked alongside my colleagues and superiors to secure speakers for the event, coordinate hotel accommodations and travel plans, guide my team to develop lesson plans and topics for the Threads and Community Engagement activities, manage arising issues during the event, and coordinate space reservations on Georgia Tech's campus.

As a summer intern for the Atlanta Police Department, I spent time with the Fraud and Larceny departments as well as the Crime Lab. During my time with Fraud and Larceny, I observed detectives and assisted in their cases by calling victims, attending interviews, and more. During my time with the Crime Lab, I gained experience in both the Latent Print and Firearm divisions. I prepared bullets for firearm testing, assisted in clerical work, wrote manuals on how to complete clerical work, and prepared a latent print presentation of evidence for a homicide trial.
