When I was 14, I watched my younger brother and sister go to Occupational Therapy, and I saw what a huge difference it could make. Even as a kid, I was always looking for ways to help the people around me, and I knew this was how I wanted to help in my career! But I had also always wanted to write. In my OT practice, I've helped my patients and coworkers by creating patient education materials, writing articles for parent support groups, and drafting proposals and in-services on complex treatment techniques and diagnoses.
