I worked alongside a doctoral student to discover commonalities amongst dinner meals with families who have a child with Autism. This opportunity taught me to feel comfortable transcribing interviews and coding qualitative data. I successfully transcribed 3 parent interviews and analyzed 2 family meals.

Each summer, I spent 8 weeks in a cabin with 15 girls and 3 co-counselors. I supervised the campers in enrichment activities designed to enhance the development of an assortment of life skill sets. sets including sportsmanship, decision-making, peer leadership and self-awareness I also counseled and guided campers who periodically had difficulty coping with the camp’s group environment.

I created themed, age appropriate, fun activities for children ages 2 to 6 often dealing with disruptive behavior . As head party coordinator, I was responsible for addressing and handling parents concerns regarding the party’s logistics that resulted in customer satisfaction
