In my current position with Pilot Catastrophe Service, I assist in on-boarding and software access of new hires in our variety of company programs. I provide technical assistance to each employee as they come into our office to properly set up their hardware and software. In this work environment there are often many changes in our number of employees, so I stay organized in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. While assisting in Building Management I order supplies, organize empty cubicles, and oversee inventory of computers.

Multiple times a year, LSU host softball camps and current and past players work it. I have worked camps with 300+ campers. This gives me experience with organization of large groups, while also teaching me patience with the younger generations. There was also smaller camps that specialize in certain areas of the game. I worked a certain station at each camp which is the head coach's decision.

There were many things I do under Emily Smith in the LSU Facility Services office. I answer the front desk phone, organize paperwork, deliver papers to different offices, and work with excel. One thing I really love about this job is welcoming every person who walks in. I am currently working part-time at Facility Services and will continue to work through the school year.

I take pride in this job of mine. I train young softball players in every aspect of the game. I let the player and parent decide what they would like to work on. Whether it is offense, defense, or both I always find time for whatever my customer desires.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana Area

I interned at Iron Tribe Fitness-Mid City for class credit at LSU. I was in charge of running the social media accounts. I followed a schedule in order to reach as many people on social media as possible. When I was not posting stories on Instagram during classes, I shadowed coaches to begin learning what it looks and sounds like to coach athletes of all ages in this particular setting. I learned so much about social media marketing and coaching.
