I am a dedicated and driven Public Relations student at Boston University's College of Communication, with a strong focus on honing my skills in media management, social media strategy, and effective communication. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. My performance has earned me recognition on the Boston University Dean's List and the Boston University Writing Department Exemplary Citizen Award. I expect to graduate in May, 2025.Throughout my academic journey, I have immersed myself in a variety of coursework and projects that have equipped me with practical knowledge and expertise in the field. My coursework includes subjects such as Principles and Practices of Public Relations, Digital Media and PR, Nonprofit Public Relations, and Government Public Affairs. I have also engaged in hands-on projects, such as developing public relations plans for Costco and David Abel's documentary release of Inundation District, as well as conducting research on topics like college students' perceptions of dating apps and Truth Social.I have gained valuable experience through my roles outside of academia as well. As the Media Team Co-Director at Her Campus, Boston University, I demonstrated my leadership skills by overseeing all postings on various social media platforms and strategizing campaigns with nationally recognized brands like Grubhub, Clinique, and Fenty Beauty. I currently serve as the chapter's vice president, and I act as the secondary point of contact for the school’s administration and HCHQ, following the president. I help ensure that chapter operations go according to plan and that we are upholding the national HCHQ expectations.Currently, I am further expanding my skill set as the Social Media and Account Manager at Brand Capture, where I contact and create content for clients running online storefronts, showcasing my ability to collaborate effectively with both team members and clients.Contemporaneously, I served as a Social Media and Communications Intern for the Town of York's government, where I was responsible for merging branches through social media and building upon their current communications plan. Through these relationships, I was also granted the opportunity to contract the creation of flyers for the Town's community service association.
