Before becoming an Educator, I worked in Dallas, TX as a Multimedia Specialist. My specialties were graphic design, video production, photography, and social media communications. Once I transitioned into Teaching, I taught Digital Media, Art, and design foundations to students in low socioeconomic areas in an Early College Program. This was a very fulfilling position because I helped students learn valuable life skills like resilience and adaptability, but also because I helped them earn a college degree at no cost to them. Once I helped to establish the Early College Program, I wanted to pursue other professional goals, like working abroad. In 2022 I made that dream a reality by taking a teaching position in Hong Kong. Now I teach Art and Design at an international school and look forward to expanding my network to include educators worldwide.
