It is through my coursework that I developed a passion for UX and UI design. Previous to taking these courses, I had never even heard of this kind of design. However, once I learned about it, I knew I could envision myself having a career in this field. I found myself spending hours on my assignments, losing track of time because I was so engrossed in my work. I would love the chance to apply that same kind of focus and attention to detail towards creating solutions as a career.In addition to developing a passion through my coursework, I also vastly improved my communication skills. After countless presentations and group projects, I not only got more comfortable communicating, but I actually began to enjoy working in groups. I also showed leadership skills by being a team leader for a semester project in an upper division UX design course. Given these experiences, I think I could make a great asset to any team.
