After several years of serving young adults in the US, I decided to take a step toward serving internationally in Eastern Europe with Cru - which became the best year of my lifeAs this was a self-funded opportunity, I quickly learned to build relationships with private sponsors and donors to create my own network of financial funding. In doing so, I successfully negotiated financial commitments from 150+ donors including foundations, corporations, and high net worth individuals. Taking a leap into international ministry, this incredible international opportunity afforded me significant life experience in serving others in an unfamiliar country.
