Leading Marriott’s IT Build organization in the solutioning of a Cloud-based Property Management System (PMS) and its integration with Marriott’s Central Reservation System (CRS). Accountable for $20 million budget on a $50+ million project to reimagine a premised base PMS to a distributed Cloud-based guest experience solution. Responsibilities include defining baseline scope, initial design, solutioning, resource management including both onshore/offshore teams and product development. Planning will include implementation, delivery, and development support of this new PMS and its integration with Marriott’s enterprise systems. Transitioned over leadership responsibilities for design, development, product delivery and support of Marriott’s Property Management System (PMS) LightSpeed.(Acquired Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in September 2016)

Architected and implemented a J2EE system for property management services. System currently is use by over 700 hotels worldwide. Gained competitive advantage and revenue increase due to real time connectivity between Starwood’s customer loyalty program and remote property systems. Migrated system deployed at all of North American owned and managed Starwood hotels as well as 98% of franchised hotels.• Migrated custom legacy reporting to a dynamic browser-based solution. Significant cost savings and increased productivity achieved by elimination of printed reports. • Recruited, hired, trained and managed core application development team of Starwood’s property management system. Experience on building startup teams, and taking the process though product maturity.• Achieved SOX compliance for the development organization. Implemented and deployed controls and infrastructure for a PCI and PA-DSS complaint solution. Security solutions created for credit card encryption as well secure key management. Compliance allowed us to retain our regulatory level-2 merchant certification from VISA.
