Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify and address any potential issues or malfunctions.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including equipment performance & and maintenance activities.Identify and report equipment malfunctions or trends which indicate abnormal operating conditions or emergency situations.Operate and adjust various control systems, including distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other computer-based control interfaces to regulate equipment performance and optimize plant processes.Coordinate and respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures, power outages, or safety incidents, by initiating appropriate emergency procedures and contacting the necessary personnel.Analyze operational data, including performance metrics, equipment readings, trends, and alarms, to identify potential issues, optimize processes, and improve plant efficiency.Maintain accurate records and logs of plant activities, equipment performance, alarm incidents, and other relevant information.
