I began my career as a Mechanical Design Engineer in 2004 and continued in that role until 2008, gaining valuable experience at Descon with a dynamic team of both young and seasoned professionals. My work primarily focused on designing various types of boilers—water tube, fire tube, and others—with steam capacities ranging from 5 tons per hour to 200 tons per hour, handling both pressure and non-pressure parts for boilers of different sizes.In 2008, I joined Etimaad Engineering to broaden my professional skill set, initially continuing in a similar design role before transitioning into a much larger scope of designing static equipment for steel mills, power plants, and the oil & gas industry. I was also part of the team that secured ASME certifications for the company in 2009. By 2010, I took on the challenge of switching to Project Management, leveraging my design experience to successfully complete three projects, both locally and internationally, under the guidance of some of the legends of the EPCC industry.In 2013, I joined ICI Pakistan, one of the top organisations in the country, where my background in both design and project management allowed me to excel in a role that truly aligned with my experience.I rejoined Etimaad Engineering as Assistant Vice President (Construction) in July 2024. In this role, I oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects across key sectors such as power and oil & gas. I am responsible for managing resources, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.I have extensive expertise in mechanical design, specializing in boilers (all types and capacities) and pressure vessels, adhering to ASME Sec-I, DIN, and ASME Sec VIII standards. I oversee the strategic execution of projects, managing resource allocation, budgeting, risk mitigation, and the entire project lifecycle. My expertise includes leading costing, estimation, material selection, and MTO generation, along with managing contract negotiations and vendor partnerships. By fostering strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration, I ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
