Remittance of cash through banking channel to site offices in line with approved budget and project activity needs. Check and verify the expenditure statement submitted by site offices, make inquiry if unusual or unexpected heavy expenditure if incurred, review classification of expenses and arithmetical accuracy and get it approved by Program Manager and Executive Director. Verify and authorize vouchers for project expenses and forward for approval from Program Manager. Posting of transactions in accounting software. Submit accounting reports from system to Program Manager and Executive Director for review on monthly basis. Processing project payments i.e. preparation of cheques, get signed by appropriate authority and dealing with banks. Preparation of bank reconciliations and forward to Program Manager and Executive Director for approval. Maintain bank files containing account opening form, bank statements and reconciliations. Prepare salary sheet with proper statutory and other deductions and get approval from PM and Executive Director. Maintenance of record of all assets procured and/or received from PR on fixed assets register. Make inventory counts of assets and project inventories at regular interval. Compile quarterly report on the basis of sites expenditure and SR's expenditure and get it approved from PM. Submit Quarterly financial reports to PRin timely manner. Prepare draft annual financial statements. Coordinate external audit of program financial statements. Submit annual audited financial statements to PR in timely manner. Prepare variance analysis along with reasons for variances and submit to PM and Executive Director for review. Coordinate and facilitate representatives of PR for review of QTR financial report
