Ensure prompt delivery and that accurate records is maintained of all procured materials, machines etc. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.. Undertake periodic market surveys to assess the trends in availability and price of required items. Also check availability of substitutes in the market.

While Working as a Sr. Procurement Engineer :-1. Receiving BOQ, Specs, Drawings from HOD.2. Preparing Package for different systems after thoroughness of BOQ, as per our BOQ, Specs and Drawings.3. Before sending inquires, to be ensure about the company profile and previous relation with the company.4. Sending inquiries.5. Receiving Quotations.6. Preparing price analysis sheet, making reference for one standard company quotation, accordingly 7. Coordinating technically with other company with other quotations. 8. Calling supplier of brand representative to be clear about any technical or future confusion.9. To be confirm and ensure that all companies are technically same and equally complying with our Specs.10. Negotiating with supplier or company and selecting three lowest prices.11. Preparing and Sending PO or LOI accordingly after approval of material.12. Follow up with the supplier as per site requirement.13. Total in charge for Consultants approvals for materials, quantity and quality of material approvals.
