ERP Implementation

Here I am working as MIS Head. I am responsible for IT System and infrastructure development. Some of my responsibilities are:  Accountable for formulating IT Strategies and defining an IT road-map for implementing the strategies.  Working to develop an ERP for the Group.  Involved in all the phases of SDLC including requirement analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of IT Solutions.  To examine existing IT systems and business models.  To analyse systems requirements.  To undertake product development.  To implement, configure and test feasible solutions.  Responsible to develop solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.  Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.  Reviewing documents, workflow and plans for implementation with the user.  Installing and configuring interface software.  Troubleshooting and resolving complex implementation issues in regards to interface and information exchanges.  Providing interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team’s procedures.  Demonstrating leadership to define requirements for project risk.  Developing solutions with the latest tools.  Responsible for assessing individual/group training needs for the software.  Responsible for planning, preparing and researching lessons for the software.  Keeping personal IT skills and knowledge up to date.

Here I was Head of HR and MIS. During my long 16 years of career in Bangladesh Army, I was responsible to do System analysis, System design, System development, System test and System implement in various Military Units and HQ together and separately. Beside my all military activities following are few MIS responsibilities and experience which I have accumulated from my whole Military career.  Accountable for formulating IT Strategies and defining an IT road-map for implementing the strategies.  To examine existing IT systems and business models.  To analyze systems requirements.  To implement, configure and test feasible solutions.  Validates results by testing programs.  Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.  Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.  Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.  Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.  Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.  Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.  Reviewing documents, workflow and plans for implementation with User (Military Officer and Soldiers)  Coordinating, and tracking new implementations projects.  Installing and configuring interface software.  Troubleshooting and resolving complex implementation issues in regards to interface and information exchanges.  Providing interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team’s procedures.
