Bluesky Building and Construction Group is a construction service provider in Melbourne which deals with residential and commercial projects.My role involves preparing, liaising, evaluating and delivering quotes for project tenders. Analysing of drawings and specifications including creation of take offs and liaise with key stake holders within all departments of the business. It also involves visiting sites and coordination with site manager to ensure the site progress and material procurement on time. It has enhanced my understanding regarding contractual terms and conditions of successful tenders, and ability to respond to the requirements of variation costings to support Contract Management teams.We also deal with building insurance restoration works in collaboration with Innovation Group. My responsibilities as estimator is to assess damages occurred to the property, estimate required repairs, prepare causation reports and scope of works. It involves dealing with insured, insurer and assessor on site.
