Handling of patients Query and Insurance Verification.Obtaining OP approval request along medical reports with CPT and ICD 9 or 10 codes to insurance companies through email, online entry or, fax and as well as taking verbal approval.Experience in Outpatient Department, using ICD-10-CM, CPT, CDT and DDC and giving appropriate codes based on the documentation.Coordinating between insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, approvals, and other requirements.Auditing claims in terms of the medical correlation, attachments, information and approvals before submitting or resubmitting them.Submitting claims and resubmitting rejected claims through DHPO eClaim Link.Training and coordinating with the billing officer and receptionist regarding the correct patient share and other related insurance issues.A good knowledge of Insurance Companies about their policies and their different price list along with discount structure.Identifying rejected claims based on internal complaint and correcting based on denial codes.Analyze the reports for quality and make corrective measures to rectify them.Following up for payments with respective insurance company’sReconciling the claimed amount and the amount received.
