- Lead the design from data collection, and validation, identifying design gaps, preparing the concept comprehensive plan stage to detailed design.- Attend Client design meetings, kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and workshops, prepare presentations and lead dry utility design as the front end when required, conduct internal training, and provide technical support to graduates and engineers.- Prepare/review clarifications to Designers RFIs, review technical submittals related to electrical works.- Work towards digitalization skills, innovations, and improvements to manage workload.- Manage/lead the team of electrical engineers, senior engineers and CAD technicians in the project(s), effective time management, planning, reporting to the line manager in coordination with the project manager and other all relevant disciplines as required.

- Manage and control the PID Project design and site execution activities of 220/132kV Substation with the objective to achieve Zero LTI and also ensured organizational SOP’s to be followed.- Data management of all approved design related to Grid system primary and secondary equipment’s.- Supervision of equipment installation in line with OEM guidelines.- Coordination with GSM/GSP for testing and commissioning of installed equipment’s.- Preparation of punch list after completion of site execution activities.- Preparation of Scrap declaration form and record keeping of SDF’s for any further reference.- Handover of project related spares, tools and end documentation to relevant user departments.- Supervision of contractor activities at site during the warranty period for rectification of faults.- Provide feedback to planning and development team regarding lesson learnt and areas of improvements.- Coordinate with internal KE stakeholders & Users department for the smooth design review and approvals for the Scoping, Functional Requirement, Contract and Project requirements for the due diligence review.- Provide engineering support including design and constructability reviews and commissioning assistance to ensure that design deliverables are met- Deliver all technical tasks to comply with quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls to enable completion on time and within scope- Analyze design and drawing, their preliminary review and preparation of Bill of Materials along with ordering through SAP platform.- Liaison with the Risk Management Team for the Risk and Sid reviews, and setup of Project Controls along with effecting project progress reporting.- Providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis of project works

- Develops full-scale project execution plans along with resource management and associated communications documents in assistance with Planning Engineer.- Preparation and finalization of supply request for all required equipment’s / machineries and materials including BOQ’s complying with the contract documents. (As per client requirement).- Complete tracking, monitoring and supervision of Site Electrical works as per approved drawings and in accordance with specifications and standards.- Coordinate with Site Construction Team for proper Implementation of electrical works, as follows: Installation of GIS and LCC, MV Switchgear, Power Transformer, Capacitor Bank, Protection panels, SCADA, Telecom, Battery & Charger, Aux. Transformer, Indoor and Outdoor Lighting, Earthing System etc.- Preparation of RFI’s & RMI’s for all the installation activities and to arrange Client approval for progress invoicing.- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentations, and presentation to the higher managements and Clients.- Work on any Scope Change Request and preparation of key documents including resource plan, impact register and coordination with contractor to arrange support and resources to meet scope, time, cost, quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities: - Monitoring and ensuring necessary co-ordination between site and engineering process throughout the project.- Planning and ensuring the allocation of all necessary erection, testing and commissioning resources to meet the requirements.- Involved in erection of 132kV GIS, 13.8kV Switchgear, Power Transformers, Capacitor Bank, Auxiliary Transformer, Control & Protection Panels, HVAC Units and Fire Fighting system etc.- Co-coordinating with testing team for conducting HV test on 132kV GIS, 13.8kV Switchgear, 132kV Cables and 13.8kV Cables.- Distribute the work activities to the team leaders to execute it on daily bases & to make sure that what have been done is accepted by QA/QC department.- Preparing Ready for Inspection (RFI) schedule for consultant approval and compliance with necessary standards as per the client requirements.- Preparing Bill of Quantities.- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports with all supporting documents to Client.- Resolved any problems that could cause delays to the project’s completion.- Coordinate with Procurement Engineers and to suppliers to systematic schedule & deliveries of equipment’s and materials. - Follow up the material required in the stock and raise the material request- Attend the daily meetings and report the activities and daily progress to Project management- Ensured projects ran to schedule and to budget.- Maintained strict quality control and safety procedures at Site.

Projects:Construction of 132/13.8 kV 4 Substations NIMAR PackageResponsibilities:- Design review for PTS compliance including cost control, preparation, submission and follow up of project documents including base design, details design, calculations, drawings, ITPS, to client until got approved.- Monitoring the project progress during procurement, design, construction, installation, erection and testing and commissioning phases until completion.- Review of purchase orders, coordinate with procurement department for any missing products or new products or services required in substation projects to achieve the desired goal on time, scope and quality. - Management and co-ordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT), follow up for approval of factory acceptance tests with clients, issue shipment release, and follow up for successful delivery of equipment on sites.- Analyze all the problems affecting the progress and solve them together with the site manager.- Prepare the monthly invoices for the works executed and materials delivered within the specified time and as per the terms & conditions of the contract.- Scrutiny of tender documents and assisting in preparing of budgetary cost of the project.
