15 Years of coaching experience with MOE Schools and Individuals, I am honoured to be the first Badminton Coach in Singapore to complete Games-for-Life Mentoring and Competency Programme. Going through the programme has made me realised that coaching badminton while focusing on the character development of a trainee/player is possible. The ability to connect with trainees improved and especially with the adults. As the head coach of The Shuttlers' Academy (TSA), I also focus on building character and values, not just fitness or technical aspects. This goes beyond coaching my players, as I preach and inculcate such values to fellow coaches at TSA as well.Together, TSA Coaches create an enjoyable badminton journey that is not only fitness-boosting, but also character-building.
