Information Technology Business Analyst
CurrentRepsonsibilities:Collaborates with internal and external clients to assess business processes, clarify clientrequirements, and outline the capabilities of existing software, hardware, and networkinfrastructure .• Explains the implications of emerging technologies to clients and provides guidance on thepotential integration of such technologies.• Conducts feasibility studies for major IT developments, including cost-benefit analysis, andpresents proposals to company clients.• Provides guidance and support for the procurement, supply, transportation, installation,maintenance, and use of IT systems and their associated environments.• Analyzes new system functionalities to understand how they support and impact businessfunctions.• Evaluates current business models and data flows, creating functional specifications and testingplans for new systems to meet client requirements.• Works closely with developers and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and usersatisfaction.• Collaborates with business representatives to understand requirements, scope, and acceptancecriteria.• Communicates the impact of emerging technologies to clients and advises on their potentialimplementation.• Defines mappings and business rules to align "as is" and "to be" models.• Produces reports on application development and implementation.• Interprets business needs and translates them into application and operational requirements.• Analyzes and documents business processes.• Reports progress and escalates risks and issues to the Project Manager.• Assists with and executes User Acceptance Testing as needed.
