Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel (5-star with 850 Rooms and residences)(International Chain of hotels Managed by Millennium and Copthorne Hotels PLC)Reporting to DOF and Relieve him during his absencePreparation of Local policies & proceduresPreparation & presentation of annual budget and monthly forecastingManaging the Annual Internal Audit and associated reports as well as any Interim Internal Audits.Coordination with local govt. body for tourism fees and revenue audits.Dealing with banks and insurance companies for claims as well if there is a renewal of the policy.Assist the finance team in cross-exposure and training.Conduct the daily morning briefing in finance department and share ideas& advice.Month-end closing in an accurate and timely manner.Finalizing of cost JVs and inventories with cost controller at every month end.Preparation of month-end reports.Managing daily flash report which is automated with vision.Review the income auditor reports on daily basis.Verification of GCR on a daily basis.Checking and verification of Payroll and employees' benefits.Review credit card payments and allocations.Supervising AR follow-ups and collections of payments.Monitoring the high balances and making the strategies if there is any risk involved.Verification of all AR payments duly posted in the system.Check and verify the payment vouchers and Supervise all finance staff.
