Primarily done to fix scaling issuesas we integrate with companies with large calendar data sets & to fix glaring quality issues within the codebase.• Performed NO‑SQL Database Schema optimizations for large calendar data sets & writing efficient aggregation queries to increase read timesby 100x on our dashboard.• Shifted hosting of services from AWS to GCP App Platform to cut deployment costs & creating an automated CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions.• Orchestrated & deployed a data pipeline that parsed 500K data records from OLTP (MongoDB), forwarded it to BigQuery using Airbyte.• Wrote complex queries on BigQuery for customized use cases for our clients & used datasets to create charts for said clients on Preset.

First tech hire and the founding engineer at a (now) Y-Combinator backed start-up!• Implemented the core of our API micro services with a mono‑repo approach in Node.js for our mobile trading app and utilized testing libraries for enhanced reliability and ease of debugging. The app currently handles thousands of trades with hundreds of thousands of dollars of assets under management.• Deployed containerized services, using Docker, on AWS EC2 and used Argonaut to automate the deployment processes. This reduced friction in shipping quick iterations of our products and served as the CI CD pipeline for our back‑end.• Built secure payment railways using Golang and Temporal (for scalabality and to prevent failures) for our B2B app through integration’s with Pakistan’s leading payment gateways such as Safepay leading to increased revenue, growth of our user base as well as easing use of product.• Implemented a centralized logging system with multi‑level logging across our micro services and integrated Open Telemetry to gather telemetry data, as well as deploying SigNoz for centralized monitoring and visualization.• Implemented reverse proxies using nginx and Apache web servers to add a layer of security to our MVP back‑end monolith as well as the front end for our websites.• Developed easy to use admin panels for multiple products using React‑JS and Tailwind, this aided our operations team to enhance their ability in solving and responding to customer queries as well as creating a window for them to peek into product data.• As I was the first member of the tech team, I was responsible for head hunting and hiring subsequent engineers, interns as well as our CTO. I also helped in headhunting for many other roles before we hired our HR.
