I led the development of a data strategy aligned with a group brand consolidation, focusing on customer journeys, group-level visibility, and cost savings. This involved creating a data roadmap for a central data lakehouse, governance tools, and a common data model and securing CTO approval. I managed a global team of data engineers overseeing a multi-cloud data platform, optimised ETL/ELT processes for streaming and batch and implemented secure data operations. Additionally, I worked closely with business units to address data gaps and contributed to AI-driven initiatives to enhance data quality, pipeline efficiency, self-serve analytics for data-driven decision-making and market insights.
