I graduated from the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a BS in electrical and computer engineering. With this degree I have obtained vital skills and understanding of power systems, computer hardware and software. Through my coursework as well as my research experience I have obtained complex problem solving skills which will allow me to excel in the tasks provided.I am currently working at Hubbell Power systems which is in the integral power utility manufacturing industry. I have the opportunity to be working in a foundry that casts aluminum and bronze components for the products we manufacture. While working in a foundry I have been able to add to my manufacturing experience from my time in the automotive industry. I have also shifted my focus from product manufacturing to product design/ giving me a more encompassing understanding of the product supply business.I believe education to be a very important part of our lives, it is vital as an engineer to be well educated in order to engineer a new or preexisting system to advance the human race. I hope to have the chance to work in the industry for a few years and later return to further my education in the business realm. I believe furthering my business education will allow me to make optimal decisions for the business as well as the customer I work for. My interests include volunteering to help those in need of help, practicing my faith, learning more about other faiths and cultures, correcting misconceptions others have of my faith, spending time with family and friends, traveling, sports, and creating solutions to everyday problems.
