Professionally, I enable data-driven decision making by developing BI insights to solve business problems. This includes analyzing data (using PwC approach), designing, implementing & maintaining effective data dashboards using state of the art data analytic tools (including MS Excel, Power BI) and advanced machine learning techniques (using R & Python). Currently building portfolio in Google Cloud and Google Big Data analytics.Academically, I research to further the domain of data-driven decision making by evolving interactive ML and stream learning techniques to improve real-time data visuals and making complex data analytics accessible for common users. Having published several research papers and co-authored Springer International book, my research (involving both Human Computer Interaction and Machine Learning) uniquely qualifies me as a person who understands not just the technical algorithmic and data visualization challenges - but also the user analytics adaptability issues and transparent decision-making concerns of the business. In summary, my experience as software developer helps me understand and bring together the diverse information systems and data sources while my research experience with HCI and ML helps me deliver effective and cutting-edge data analytic products
