I have also developed specialized expertise in the area of international high net worth individual markets for life insurance products. I have acted as Appointed Actuary to many life and health insurers, particularly in Canada, the United States , Bermuda, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and Panama.I have also developed further expertise over the years in life insurance administration and actuarial systems, and am responsible for Eckler’s current financial services software EASy covering all aspects of valuation, financial projections and pricing, as well as the development of MERLIN, a new actuarial software approach. Further development in software has centered on the application of stochastic principles and techniques to quantify the risk exposure on uncertain future cash flows and to establish an appropriate level of actuarial liabilities.I have also been instrumental in developing web-based illustration systems employing the newest software technology.In addition to my traditional markets in North America, I am further developing my business opportunities in Latin and South America, as well as some parts of Asia, including the Middle East, India and South-East Asia.
