Key findings of my thesis covered the specific importance and needs around developing managers, and understanding at a much deeper level the way in which employees respond to the way they are managed and the people practices that they experience. My research included:- The publication of three academic papers- A qualitative research component consisting of 33 interviews and qualitative data analysis and synthesis- A quantitative research component drawing on data from over 400 respondents from eight organisations, with a multi-level statistical model to draw insights- A systematic literature review which included a novel approach to sourcing literature, incorporating a centrality algorithm over eight rounds and 31,580 papers to identify the most important (central) papers to the research question -
