I consistently achieved or exceeded all signings targets set by the business, with a projected total life of edition sales of over $7.5M for titles acquired. I was responsible for the publication and lifetime management of all titles in my portfolio. Revenues for both frontlist and overall sales under my management grew by 10.3% and 30.1% respectively in 2015, with the total revenue for my portfolio passing $2M. I developed strong relationships with external organisations. This included the signing of a lucrative co-publishing alliance with the largest scientific society in one of my portfolio areas, namely the American Association of Cereal Chemists to publish and market all of their publications going forward. I was responsible for all acquisitions training and on-boarding for Cambridge based acquisitions editors.

I joined Woodhead on a maternity cover as commissioning editor for the Sustainable Energy list. During the six months which I filled this role I achieved all required signings targets and prepared the list for a smooth transfer back to the returning editor, as well as preparing extensive reports on the status of the list in preparation for its integration into Elsevier’s Energy portfolio. In this time I also developed Woodhead’s title management software, which I subsequently expanded for the whole of Elsevier.
