Leadership- Led a team of 6 engineers and designers to complete the detailed engineering phaseof a 10M CAD primary separation cell feedwell replacement project.- Developed and led two inter-office WorkShare teams (China and India) and improvedcost and schedule performance on a 30M CAD project by 250k CAD and 2 months.- Managed a team of 12 discipline leads to complete a 6-month uranium minefeasibility study (currently waiting for a sanction decision).Project Management- Prepared TIC estimates, manhour estimates, project budgets and schedules anddelivered resource bid proposals for the Shell Albian Oil Sands project.- Oversaw a primary separation cell feedwell shop fabrication and helped implement anight shift to turn-around a delayed project back to schedule.- Planned and managed a study phase on a mega capital project consisting of 250,000engineering-hours, 1B CAD (TIC), and 10,000 deliverables across 4 offices.- Managed a fast-track parallel engineering process to ship a primary separation cellfeedwell on time.- Supervised an inter-office Finite Element Analysis study and cut 3 months off theschedule’s critical path.Technical Analysis- Prepared and approved engineering and construction work packages, line designationtables, piping isometrics, mechanical equipment specifications, data sheets, andmaterial requisitions in mining and oil sands operations.

Construction Management- Directed spiral replacements (turnaround) on a 10Mtpa capacity iron ore mine, whichincluded procuring contractors and contractor performance management.- Developed construction strategies to minimize production losses by 20M CAD (30production days) on a 130M CAD mining project.- Conducted daily and weekly contractor progress meetings.Technical Analysis- Analyzed power requirements and foundation loads for 25 iron ore belt conveyors(up to 2,500 tons/hr, 2,000m in length and 30m lift).- Completed technical bid evaluations for 10M USD belt conveyors and the associatedstockyard stacker/reclaimer.

Technical Analysis- Designed detailed engineering packages for a 6M CAD coarse product fluid bed dryer,stainless steel tanks, process tank agitators, and an electrostatic precipitator on theRocanville potash mine expansion (3.0Mtpa to 5.7Mtpa).- Completed detailed engineering packages for belt conveyor belting (1M CAD),idlers/pulleys (1M CAD), gear reducers (0.9M CAD), and 500tph bucket elevators(4M CAD) on the Cory potash mine expansion project (1.8Mtpa to 2.8Mtpa).

Team Leadership- Managed a drafting team to propose a 2,200tph coal sizer layout improvement to cutmaintenance turnaround duration by half.Technical Analysis- Engineered the early concept design for a 120M USD coal fired dryer, which includeddraft layouts for new conveyors, stackers, screening plant, dryers and stockpiles.

Performance Improvement- Optimized the routing on chain conveyors, which led to 250k CAD cost savings in anethanol production plant.- Problem solved (troubleshoot) recurring chain conveyor overloading by implementingdesign improvements with the supplier.Technical Analysis- Prepared the modularization approach on the Goro Nickel Mine; pre-assemble unitsranged from 5 to 100t and 14 m high, which were sourced in the Philippines.

- Engineering Inspector responsible for performing hydrostatic tests on valves, welding magnetoscopy, X-rays on process steel pipes and metal identification. - Completed hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests on flexible pipes for petroleum boats and performed surveys of tank floor thickness inspections with ultrasonic sensors (as per API).Lead Engineering Inspector responsible for conducting inspections of bulk terminals to ensure regulation conformity. These inspections were in-situ and led to strategic actions to comply with Governmental regulations.
