The Chair for Cyber Security is responsible for management of the relationship between RMC and the Director of Cyber Operations Force Development, including the activities of its Detachment, and for liaison and collaboration with academic colleagues and Detachment personnel in the provision of cyber education and training at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional course levels. In support of Cyber Force Development, RMC provides research, development and delivery of new cyber education and training courses, and guidance in the development of future cyber education and training programs. As a member of the Faculty of Engineering, I am responsible for teaching, research and administration. I have thought a wide variety of courses in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Systems and Engineering Management at both the undergraduate and graduate level. My research interest lie in the field of Computer and Network Security. I have demonstrated solid administrative proficiency by chairing university wide committee and participating in wide-ranging aspects of educational administration.

The Canadian Forces has established a Cyber Task Force to examine Force Development issues dealing with the Cyber Environment. As Technical and Academic Adviser, I help the task force gain an understanding of the impact that computer and network technologies will have on computer network operations.
