Performing copyright policy analysis, development and review for copyright reform; meeting stakeholders, special interest and lobby groups regarding copyright issues; analyzing proposed legislative amendments; collaborating with government departments on copyright issues, actively participating in legislative drafting process for copyright reform (Bill C-32, Bill C-11, amendments), acting as technical expert for international negotiations on copyright issues, acting as technical expert for special legislative parliamentary committee on copyright issues, briefing ADMO (Associate Deputy Minister's Office), DMO (Deputy Minister's Office) MinO (Minister's Office) on copyright-related issues, performing technical briefings for MPs (members of Parliament) and stakeholders on copyright bill.
