As an accomplished researcher and consultant in the field of international development, with specific emphasis on Africa, I am proud to have founded the Africa Development Research and Consulting Group (ADRC). With my extensive background in research, teaching, and consulting spanning over 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with esteemed institutions such as Wake Forest University (WFU) and Research Triangle Institute (RTI International). As a recipient of grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and a Fulbright Scholar, I have dedicated my career to advancing knowledge and understanding of Africa's development landscape.During my tenure as the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa's Principal Regional Advisor for Economic Affairs (Development Planning), I gained invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the continent. It became evident to me that comprehensive research and knowledge creation are essential for effective policy-making, implementation, and project management. It is with these realization that I established ADRC.Through ADRC, I am committed to spearheading research initiatives that provide a solid foundation for informed decision-making in Africa. By collaborating with governments, institutions, and organizations across the continent, I aim to bridge the gap between research and practice, driving positive and sustainable development outcomes.I invite you to connect with me to explore potential collaborations and discuss how we can collectively contribute to Africa's transformative journey. Let us work together to unlock the continent's vast potential and shape a prosperous future for all its people.
