As Electrical System Installation & Harness Definition expert, my mission is to develop methods to design electrical system installation & harness definition through 3DExperience on NIS.Integrated into NIS PLM+ train, for the NIS FTI ESI, I'm making inception, business, method, test script and follow implementation until delivery into production.I also support other domain like standard part, electrical train & support team.

As Electrical System Installation & Harness Definition expert, my mission was to support Engineering end-user, product & method owner on the Electrical design data set (design & definition).This mission was on several Airbus Programmes, transnational, with a special focus on A350 XWB Full3D Design Data Set, Single Aisle and Beluga XL.Main Projects: - A350 Full3D & Full3D Extended, DS Automation, Long Term Archiving 3D, eDD&A - A380 PLM Harmo, AutoLight - LR NEO Full3D Neo FTI - SA E2E 3D As Master - BXL Full3D ESIMain Tools: - A350 VPM, PDMLink SSCI, PASS v2, Zamiz 2D/3D, CATIA v5 with E3P/Full3D - 3DJuump, Novo, DMU Builder

Electrical Harnesses designer on Airbus A350 PylonThis mission is the next step of the last one. Labinal has been choosing like RSP (Risk Sharing Partner) for Airbus A350 Electrical Harnesses Pylon.I had designed electrical harnesses and brackets with the CAD tool CATIA v5, and manage CAD files with Windchill Primes like PDM tool at the beginning.But, Airbus program decide to clean all method and tools between all NAT-CO. It is why, we has been trained to use VPM A350 and PDMLink.Like I had already work with VPM on Airbus A380 ENDP (Electrical New Design Plateau) , this PDM tool was familiar.I had quickly known how it is working, and how to use it. Like my colleagues was not understand everything about this tool, my chief ask me to help them. It is what I did between harnesses design.It was not so simple as it can be. At the beginning, VPM was not replicating correctly all data from PRIMES (PDMLink is new, since January 2010), so the mock-up was not up to date. But with the help of designers, like me, and time, the source of the problem was find (like false search order).But, with electrical harness (like tubing), for VPM it’s not so simple, we must use a mode called BB (BlackBoxe). VPM can make CATProduct on the fly, and it is one of the advantages of this tool (for mock-up boxing). But, in electrical CATProduct (named GBN), there’s some electrical links inside it, so we must use BB mode to keep them. In the first 3 months of the deployment of VPM, a bad search order (on VPM server (P2V)) was generating bad blackbox with broken links.I have met several time VPM Airbus responsible to test VPM and identify a lot of problems. The major parts of them are now closed, not to say all.I did the same work when PDMLink was launch in production on January 2010, and at the same time, I continue to work on electrical harnesses.

Electrical Harnesses designer on Airbus A350 PylonI had designed electrical harnesses and brackets with the CAD tool CATIA v5, and manage CAD files with Windchill Primes like PDM tool.I had working on A350 FTB (Fling Test Bed) Pylon. My mission was to find a solution to install electrical harnesses from A380 wings inside A350 Pylon.After this mission, I had working on A350 Serial Pylon.

This mission was very interesting, I did a lot of support for designer about methods and rules from Airbus fixed bracket team.My function was to increase quality of interface request of the electrical harnesses designers. At the beginning of my arrival on the A380 ENDP (Electrical New Design Plateau), 90% of fixed brackets (and holes requests) was refused by Airbus Structure Team’s. 3 months after, less than 10% of them were refused.We were a team of 3 checkers for LATELEC. We have resumed the Airbus Installation rules for fixed brackets, to help the designer to install their bracket on the structure. We were looking for rules changes, and find some new principles for installation.Our work was to check all requests of fixed brackets before to send them to Airbus teams.To increase our work, I had made some excel files to know our quality (number of fixed brackets checked, what king of mistake we found etc …). I had made excel files tools too, like to know if you are on CFRP or ALU Crossbeam with the number of the Frame, (specific rules from each CrossBeam), like to know if you are allowed to request all on this Crossbeam and in wich area etc …All designers were invited to contact us if they have a question, or anything else about methods for fixed bracket.My mission has ended because, for family reasons, I cannot go to Germany to continue the support.

This mission was fully completed. I had design Primary Insulation design principle (based on Airbus A340 design principle), design study insulation blanket, request insulation blanket interface, design full insulation blanket sketches (3D was not needed for Airbus and our company), design insulation blankets drawings, I had installed first insulation blankets directly on the Nose Fuselage at Saint Nazaire Gron (Airbus France) and re-design insulation blanket after this first installation to add the new cut-out out, or new dimension.So, it was really a pleasure to follow the pre-design, to design, to first installation and to follow-up this project.From the studies to after the manufacturing, it was a chance for me, everybody cannot say that they had a chance to touch and modify their own products. It is very pleasant.I was working on Airbus A400M with the new tools CATIA v5 and Windchill Primes.
