About Sylvain Nadeau, Ing.

Se décrire, c'est un peu comme se mettre dans une boîte mais il semble qu'il faille le faire avant que les autres ne le fasse à notre place...J'ai presque 30 ans d'expérience en informatique principalement en développement et maintenance de logiciels. Je connais plus d'une quinzaine de langage de programmation et j'ai occupé à peu près tous les postes possibles: conception, développement, déploiement, assurance qualité, support technique, chef d'équipe, analyste organique et fonctionnel, formation et rédaction technique. J'ai aussi eu l'occasion de pratiquer dans plusieurs domaines dont entre autres: le banquaire, l'apprentissage en ligne, la comptabilité laitière et le pharmaceutique.Mes intérêts sont principalement philosophiques: les paradigmes et les patrons de programmation, l'intelligence artificielle, la modélisation de données et de connaissances dont les ontologies, la NLP, la vision par ordinateur, en gros tous ce qui contribue à rapprocher la machine de l'humain ou l'inverse.Mes compétences sont multiples. Apprendre un nouveau langage ou un nouvel environnement n'est généralement pas un défi. On dit aussi de moi que je suis un bon vulgarisateur. En tant qu'ingénieur, je crois qu'il est important de partager ses connaissances et en tant que leader, je crois qu'il est important d'encourager le leadership chez les autres.
