• Monitors and controls the regulatory inspection, investigation, and enforcement of suspected and/or reported non-compliances of the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act (TDGA) and Regulations (TDGR), the Aeronautics Act (AA), and acts as auditor/assessor for national audits or System Management Safety (SMS) assessments.• Manage the inspection of domestic and foreign destinations used by the Canadian air operators (1998-2015).• Evaluates and synthesizes technical proposals for program, legislative or regulatory reform, and provides regulatory interpretation and advice to private industry, interest groups, aviation professionals, foreign Civil Aviation Authorities and the general public.• Represents Transport Canada at meetings / committees / events with air operators, regional, national, international agencies, professional associations and the public.• Act as an advisor to the member selected by Canada at the ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel (DGP) from 2003 to 2013. On May 2nd, 2023, I was nominated as the Member representing Canada at the ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel (DGP).• Develop and deliver training programs to domestic and foreign Civil Aviation Safety Inspectors and Multi-Modal Dangerous Goods Inspectors (see Annex "A" for dangerous goods training delivered since 2004 to Civil Aviation Safety Inspectors on behalf of ICAO TCB & various COSCAPs and Annex "B" for dangerous goods training delivered since 2009 on behalf of Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Directorate).• On January 2018, I completed the ICAO Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme CMA Activities Training in Aircraft Operations (OPS) and the Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) Auditor Preparation subsequent training in September 2021.
