• Provide strategic direction and oversight of functional responsibilities within the finance and compliance department, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, grants administration, and procurement, and will work.
• Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials; and oversee all financial and grants.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process; liaise with external auditors and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors; assessing any changes necessary.
• Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning processes in conjunction with the Executive Team; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes; and keep the senior leadership team.
• Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support.
• Update and implement all necessary finance-related organizational policies and accounting practices; improve the finance unit’s overall policy and procedure manual.

• Oversee financial management of the main office and satellite offices to ensure that the financial integrity of CNFA/LADA is maintained at all times.
• Review petty cash replenishments / vouchers & petty cash reconciliations and take actions where necessary in order to prevent loss
• Review all bank reconciliations / banking reports / monthly reports submitted to HQ.
• Manage the annual external audit process.
• Manage cash flows such that there is always funds available for program implementation
