Failing Forward (or 'Dare to fail') is a broad (government) campaign for and by entrepreneurs who bear witness without hesitation about the obstacles and unexpected obstacles to success. The campaign is aimed at sensitizing around the subject with a view to breaking the taboo around failure and making mistakes. The ultimate goal of this four-year campaign is to initiate a culture change. We do this - among other things - by offering low-threshold testimonials from entrepreneurs and other role models about trial and error that preceded their current success. Not so much the failure itself, but especially the learning curve (i.e. the 'failing forward' aspect) is put at the center of this. In addition to a large - scale media campaign and a website that inspires figureheads, we also organize monthly failure foils (formerly Fuck - Up Nights) in local cities and a large - scale conference.

Book in a Box was a new gift concept for books. It was inspired by the popular gift boxes such as Bongo and Cadeaubox. We launched a series of gift boxes around book themes. It was an alternative for the classic book voucher.I co-founded the company with my husband. I was responsible to put the idea into realization while my husband was responsible for the content.After 10 months Book in a Box was launched at the book fair in Antwerp. Carrefour and Dreamland decided to sell the product. A business product tailor made for companies as a business present was developed. In 2011 LRM entered into the capital. I was rewarded as most promising female entrepreneur in Limburg by Unizo in 2012.
