Whether setting-up the classrooms, making sure everything is clean and in-place for the kids, or coordinating the sign-in machine for the parents, I demonstrate how I care for my school age children by smiling and paying attention. Communicating clearly with the parents in both the good and hard situations has been a developing life skill.

I enjoy working with the customers! Coordinating colors, tones, textures, and seasonal pieces comes naturally to me as a wardrobe stylist. Additional responsibilities include unloading shipments, placing inventory on the floor and updating the floor sets and display windows routinely as well as working the cash register through the sales day. I started at the Lexington store during my freshman and sophomore years at the University of Kentucky. Now I work at the Avalon location in Alpharetta, Georgia when home on holidays. Working at both locations provided a wide scope of store cultures. The customers are different. The management is different. Very rewarding. ACCOMPLISHMENT: I have been recognized as a Floor and a Sales Leader numerous times.

Fortu Milano is a direct-to-consumer design house creating fine leather purses, belts, etc. As their first college intern ever, I assisted in developing and then implementing a social media marketing strategy targeting a new demographic for them: Upscale American 20’s who like to travel. I spent 2-3 days in the office and then the rest traveling around Milan to gather both information and ideas for multiple projects throughout the summer. Before leaving, I created a resort collection based on high end boutique hotels across southern Italy. Accomplishments: I directed a research project focused on how young adult Americans viewed Fortu Milano and how to better market to them through social media. I intimately learned how social media affects one's business especially in the fashion world. Identifying the differences between a young adult American vs a local Italian who see the company everyday. I would wander the city of Milan for inspiring ideas. We would meet weekly, talk through the ideas specifically focusing on how I viewed the company, the branding and the merchandise. I did all of the social media posts while simultaneously creating strategies that they would feel comfortable assuming. Introducing different influencers, ways of doing graphics and certain types of photoshoots to promote their product even more.
