I retired in 2017 with the Dept. of Corrections. I was a correctional officer and parole officer. I ended my career as a supervisor of a unit that experienced high stress situations. I raised my four children with my husband, who is also in law enforcement. I used fitness as a way of reducing stress. Following my retirement I obtained my teaching credential in a 200 hour yoga program. I am interested in working with first responders/students/veteran’s and all who are interested in using yoga as a means of stress relief and meditation while maintaining fitness.

Rising Rooted changed ownership in 2021 from Fearless yoga. I taught 60 minute heated power yoga. I teach in the Baptiste style of yoga which consist of 11 sequences and 53 poses. It is a power yoga which can be modified for all levels. I received my 200 hour RYT in 2019 at Warrior Yoga in Turlock CA. credentialed through Baptiste Yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance and I carry insurance with Lloyd’s of London (Alliant).

I began teaching a 60 minute Baptiste style heated power yoga in 2019 following receiving my 200 hour RYT. I am registered with Yoga Alliance and insured with Lloyd’s of London (Alliant).

I have several years of experience in supervising staff, networking with law enforcement and community stakeholders. I also have experience working with ex-offenders and community agencies.
